To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, Green Tara Yoga will be temporarily closed until it is prudent to re-open. We will continue the current session starting on the date that we resume our classes.

The powerful teachings of yoga can be deeply supportive to all of us at this stressful time. We hope you will continue with a daily yoga practice, or take this opportunity to start practicing at home. Inversions and restorative poses are both important, as they support the immune system and quiet the nervous system. As we face this enormous challenge, may we all remain calm, mindful, compassionate and wise.

New Class with Charlotte Sanpere Thursdays 7:00 – 8:30 am
We are excited about offering an early morning class so you can start your day with yoga! This Mixed Level class is open to all students.

New Time for the Wednesday Evening Class
The Wednesday evening class now meets from 5:30 – 7:00 pm.

Introductory Series for New Students
Try a 4-class introduction to Iyengar Yoga in any Level 1 or Level 1-2 class for $50.
Starting your Introductory Series at the beginning of the session is suggested but not required.
The next new session starts on Monday, January 6.
Make up classes can be done only within the 7 or 8 week session.
Open to new students who have never enrolled for a class at Green Tara Yoga

We recommend that you arrive early to allow time for parking. We do not recommend parking at Dave’s Market as you could be towed. You may find a space in the lot directly behind the building. Other options include:
✥ The upper lot accessible by a ramp at the back of the main lot
✥ Metered spots on Fairmount Boulevard
✥ Free parking on Grandview, the street adjacent to Dave’s Market
✥ The metered lot behind Firestone Tires on Cedar Road
✥ The public garage behind Starbucks on Cedar Road

Apprentice Program with Karen Allgire
Intermediate Junior III Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher (CIYT) Karen Allgire offers an apprentice program for those interested in deepening their study of yoga. Apprentices must have three years of Iyengar Yoga study and be able to make a yearlong commitment to the program. For prerequisites, requirements, costs and other details, contact Karen.
