We invite you to experience the many benefits of Iyengar Yoga, including physical health and vitality, mental clarity, and emotional serenity. You may begin classes at any time. The current session runs through Saturday, April 21 and the new session begins on Monday, April 23.
Parking may temporarily be difficult due to a popular new restaurant in our building. We recommend that you arrive early to allow time for parking. We do not recommend parking at Dave’s Market. You may find a space in the lot directly behind the building. Other options include:
– The upper lot accessible by a ramp at the back of the main lot
– Metered spots on Fairmount Boulevard
– Free parking on Grandview, the street adjacent to Dave’s Market
– The metered lot behind Firestone Tires on Cedar Road
– The public garage behind Starbucks on Cedar Road

Film on the Life of BKS Iyengar
Sadhaka is a feature documentary about the life and teaching of BKS Iyengar. Three years of filming has been completed; funds are now needed to finish the film. Whether you wish to donate or not, take 20 minutes to view the excerpt. It is beautiful and moving. Proceeds from sales and screenings will go to BKS Iyengar’s foundation for Bellur Village schools and hospital.
Apprentice Program with Karen Allgire
Intermediate Junior III Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher (CIYT) Karen Allgire offers an apprentice program for those interested in deepening their study of yoga. Apprentices must have two years of Iyengar Yoga study and be able to make a yearlong commitment to the program. For prerequisites, requirements, costs and other details, contact Karen.

Open Practice Time is an opportunity for you to use the studio and its equipment, including the new yoga rope wall, for self-directed practice. The schedule for open practice time is Mondays and Wednesdays, 10:30 am – 12:00 pm. The cost is $5.
